12:35 a.m. Friday wee hours...

We made the trek from MDACC to 1102 Hunt Lane unscathed. No rain for the first time in THREE Houston transits. It is "crash mode" here. I'll write more tomorrow.

Thank you for your prayers.

Dicky

So glad you are home safely. So glad the doctor was easily understood and "relatively unconcerned" about things. Just glad we have a God who cares, loves, provides, and CAN HEAL!! That's what we are praying for...Healing...Miracles! Love you both,
Tracy and Chris

Kim & Dicky, Diane and I learned of your cancer a month or so ago and recently Jim Liner sent me your blog address. We are and will continue to pray for you guys. I'm sure Diane will understand Dr. Yao's report more than I.
There is life with cancer!
Please allow me to share two things that God taught us with regard to Diane's cancer. First; that He was no less in charge the day she was diagnoised with CML, than the day before. God was not caught by surprise, and His love is sufficent for our needs. Sencondly; "Normal" is what you can do today, not what you were use to doing in the past. This came later, and was a great relief for Diane. A more recent insite came when I learned that you should not give your wife a shot if there is problems between you. She will think that you are enjoying it.
There is life with cancer! I don't like having to give Diane shots three days a week and she surely tires of the side effects. We have learned to Thank God for His Faithfulness. He is Jehovah-Jire. our provider.
Kim, if you would like to talk with someone who is a fellow sturggler, I sure Diane would love to visit with you. Our home number is 251-0454,
Diane's email: p38flygirl@mac.com
mine: fmhilton@bayou.com
in Christ,
Mike & Diane Hilton

Hey Love Fam,
So I have been trying like crazy to post a stinkin' comment, and for some reason I am having all kinds of trouble. Really, I am not that stupid, though I am fairly sure that my brain has not grown back to its orignial size after this last baby! So if there are like 50 comments posted, chalk it up to postpartum stupidity...or sleep deprivation. We just heard the news about Kim and please know that we are remembering you regularly before the throne of our very great God! We rejoice with you the you got good news.

recent news reminds me of the scene in Rocky III when Rocky is in rematch with Mr. T. (Clubber Lang)

Rocky takes some body blows and screams. "You ain't so bad, ain't so baaaaddddd!! That all you got? Ain't so baaaddd!!!"

Hi Kim - I'm Kacey B's neighbor. I just had my third baby, and Kacey took pity on me and gave me a comfy brown recliner (I had gotten rid of most of my stuff thinkin' I was done having babies). The only stimulation was that every time I sit in it to rock a baby, I have to pray for Dicky Love. Who the heck is that, I thought? Anyhow, since then I've gotten to hear lots of stories of what a blessing you were in her life. So I just wanted you to know every time I'm sitting in the chair, I will pray for you!

There's no place like home, and there's no body like God! And of course there's nobody like Kim or Dicky either, except of course for their amazingly talented kiddos! Yall have been so much on my heart and mind and how awesome it has been in promoting my intercessory prayer skills of late! Get some rest, cling to God, and know how much you are loved....

Kim and Dicky, we thank God for His grace towards you. Yes, He has seen you through the past many weeks of tests, both literal and figurative. Yes, He has sovereignly showed Himself to you, both within your own spirit and within the spirit of others there in Houston whether via a smile, touch or hug. Yes, He has been and is in control and does not tire of our prayers brought before Him on your behalf. Just look at the love given to you from so many!! Know that love comes from us as well as we will continue to our prayers for you.
